Our farm, Quinta de Vila Verde, is located in the bank of the Douro River, in the North of Portugal, just an hour´s drive from Porto.
Although we are the first generation of farmers the family has owned the property since 1901. We are Joana and Aníbal, a portuguese / argentinian couple that met while traveling and shares the same tastes for traveling, food and cooking, nature, animals and outdoor living. We have been working with nature to create a refuge for world travellers who embrace nature and adventurers that like to travel off the beaten path. Our aim is to share this beautiful place and provide you unique experiences!
